Exam 3 is scheduled on Tuesday, March 31, 2020. It will be posted on Canvas under “Online Exams” Module.
The exam will be available for 12 hours, from 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. so you can take it at anytime between this timeline.
Exam 3 is timed, you will only have 70 minutes to answer the questions and submit your answers. There will be no lock browser, and you will only have one attempt to answer each question. The test is all multiple choice questions. I would advice to have a calculator, periodic table, formulas sheet, and scrap paper in front of you. In order to select the correct answer to a mathematical question, you need to solve the problem step by step as we do with the practice problems. No partial credit will be given, you either get the questions right or wrong. Please do not email me or the TAs your scrap paper calculations pages. It will not be graded!
Make sure to study and review Chapter 4 Class Notes, Part 4 & Chapter 4 Practice Problems Part 2 as well as the lecture notes on Chapter 5 and the practice problems on chapter 5.
