It’s been a very challenging week for you, and your colleague John Williams. Earlier in the week, John sent you an e-mail (see below) asking if you would be willing to deliver a workshop about effective business presentations to his team in the marketing department. Although you like the idea of running the workshop, you simply do not have time in your schedule at the moment. Moreover, you are contemplating leaving Computer Central Limited for other employment. (You’ve not shared this information with anyone) Before refusing John’s invitation, you learn that his father (Edward) passed away suddenly. Now you need to send John two documents: an e-mail that refuses his invitation, and a letter of sympathy.
