Employee’s at McDonald’s have to not only work with the public but also know how to work with colleagues. McDonald’s also gives leaders the opportunity to help their team member succeed. McDonalds encourage the development of technology from their suppliers in exchange for loyalty in business. This was a way of how McDonald’s reduced their costs. McDonald’s has the largest market share in the fast food industry (10% Global Share and 43% of the U.S. Fast Serve Market). The reason that McDonald’s is willingly to take risks is that the company realizes that it’s vital to adapt to the needs and wants of customers.
