This will help you see the competitive advantage of each firm and assist you in thinking about where your firm can and should position itself in the industry (i.e., using strategy to allocate resources and activities within your firm to establish that position). This matrix should appear at the end of your writing assignment. Keep in mind that customers using the products/services provided by Chewy and their competitors likely care little about market share of a firm, advertising, or even profitability of a firm, etc. as these things do not directly relate to the customer’s use of products and services.
